Here's a few of the pictures from what was once the Midget Autopia in Marceline, Missouri. The ride was donated by Walt & Roy from Disneyland in late May of 1966.

The ride was located at the Walt Disney Municipal Park in Marceline. It included 10 junior sized Autos which young kids would drive along a 603-foot winding roadway. Admiral Joe Fowler, general manager of Disneyland, oversaw the installation of the ride. Could you imagine what it would have been like to have an actual Disneyland ride brought into your own small town? As a child, that would truly have been a dream come true!

Walt, Roy and their wives were scheduled to appear at the dedication on July 4th of that same year. However, days before the ceremony Walt had to cancel due to "a cough he couldn't shake." Instead he sent a taped message for the dedication.

Walt passed away 3 months later, in December 1966.
